Bluetooth range is excellent. It would easily stay connected when going from one area of a reasonably large house to another. The range exceeds any other Bluetooth headphones. The Sony WH-1000XM4 take everything the third-generation model did so well and crank it up another notch. Audio quality and noise cancellation have been upgraded, while intelligent new features improve the user experience with no compromises elsewhere.
