No matter how great she was doing she still had insecurities - doubted herself. She questioned, “am I good enough?”

The process of becoming Her is the pursuit of becoming the best version of yourself each day. And in that pursuit, I believe we have to learn to be limitless, and more intentional with our thoughts and belief system. In this memoir, she reflects on what her life was like as she was raised on the South Side of Chicago and her roots in her working class family. But even after having my breasts implants removed that spring, I was never fully convinced about living as a man regardless of the benefits I had experienced. I still had my makeup and wigs hidden away in boxes under my bed. And I was plotting every excuse to wear them. I’d be in my room at my mom’s house, secretly putting on makeup. At 33 years old, there I was hiding in my mom’s guest room reimagining myself like I was a child all over again. I kept getting these glimpses of my old self. The woman. But I would always get these nasty jolts of reality that reminded me that I was living my life as a man again.

I usually ever even ‘think’ like that. .....but their wedding did feel beautiful.....surrounded by many people who loved them both. Provide educational resources, professional counseling & coaching services to facilitate inward growth. After weeks of passive-aggressive behavior, we had a nasty exchange that put everything on the table. Finally, she realized I wouldn’t change my mind and she said: it’s your body, your life. You know what you need to do. Over time, I was becoming myself again and she saw the comfort in that and the joy it brought me regardless of the obstacles. She eventually stopped asking questions. Yeah, for most of people eating shit is so weird. But that is not the best part for me. As I told I had a great feet fetish since my childhood and it grew I truly believe that, in my hiccups and trials and tribulations, there are lessons for others. There might be someone who sees my story and understands it and might be going through something similar. That’s why I am so open about my story. I know that there are others who might relate, but may never live to tell it.

Internally I was overjoyed, but I was so shy to express my feeling. ' she told Michelle she wouldn’t be “ Princeton material”. Michelle will slowly getting stronger and believing in herself.... but was definitely vulnerable and sensitive to a feeling inside of not being good enough. But that day she decided she was going to at least apply to Princeton..... she went and got her recommendation letter from a great neighbor who also worked at the school. She never talk to that counselor again....

I don't know what happened but I really did not connect with Michelle Obama while reading this book. I ended up skipping a lot of paragraphs, reading through it and would have probably not ended my reading of Becoming if it had been written by any other person in the world.
