About this deal

It's clearly more capable than the ATJ2127/2157/2167 not-enough-ram-to-get-out-of-their-own-way shovelware series, but anything further is going to require taking one apart and finding documentation on the chips inside. For testing the Hifi Walker H2 Touch, I’ve used a large collection of headphones and IEMs, including 7Hz Salnotes Zero, Letshouer D13, OLLO s5X, OLLO S4x, Westone MACH 40, Westone MACH 60, IMR Dark Matter, IMR Ozar, Audeze MM-500, OneOdio Monitor 80, and Oriveti OV800.

You can hear the bass guitar playing in the right ear, while certain effects, usually guitars, play around your head. of the time whilst out walking in the woods or out-and-about in town with my wired Sennheiser headphones.

Easy loading of music onto memory card/mass storage device, no garbage proprietary software required. It compares very favourably, providing a good chunk of the performance for something in a portable package. I haven't tested the line out or Bluetooth functionality/performance, as I doubt I'll ever use either of these since I anticipate using this 99. It sports 100 volume steps, so there’s enough granularity to the volume control, plus once you press on the volume button once, you can keep it pressed for quick large volume adjustments, or use the navigation wheel to control the volume. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.

HIFI Walker H2 Touch vs Surfans F20 (129 USD vs 119 USD) – F20 is naturally one of the biggest enemies that H2 Touch must face, especially with Surfans being a competitor company of HIFI Walker. It supports distortion-free HiFi music in all popular file formats, including FLAC, MP3, WAV, AAC, OGG, AIFF, WMA, APE, DFF, and native DSD (up to 128 bit/5.I haven't tested it with any other harder to drive headphones, as for me there is no use-case for using this with anything bigger/harder to drive than my intended HD25 headphones, given I will be using this entirely for portable listening when out and about outside the house. The H2 lowers the overall volume of the music in relation to your increase of DB’s in EQ to prevent distortion.
